Won't allow this to happen that May 9 criminals should contest polls instead of punishment: Rana Sanaullah

GUJRANWALA (92 News) - PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has said that they will not allow this happen that the May 9 criminals should contest the polls instead of punishment.

Addressing a ceremony on Thursday, he said that the people who committed the crime should be held accountable. "Now law exists in the world that a criminal should be pardoned to contest the elections," he added.

"The Jinnah House was torched. Will an inspector investigate the case?" he questioned, adding that Army will investigate it.

The PML-N leader said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is returning to Pakistan on October 21. "We will start the journey of progress from the same point where it was halted," he maintained.

He announced that Nawaz Sharif will address a public meeting soon after his arrival.
