ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman has said that the opposition will not attack the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), but will stage a vigorous protest on Tuesday.

Talking to the media after a meeting of the PDM Steering Committee on Monday, he said that the foreign funding case against the PTI was the biggest scandal and the main accused was Imran Khan. "Foreign funding was used for rigging in the 2018 elections. The mother of NROs was taken by the government," he alleged.

Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that verdict was not being announced in the case despite confession of the crime. "A verdict is pronounced against an elected prime minister within six months, while the verdict against a selected prime minister is not announced in six years," he added.

He announced that the PDM would launch a million march, namely "Israel Na Manzoor" in Karachi on January 21.

The PDM chairman said that big public meeting would be held in Rawalpindi on Kashmir Solidarity Day. "Rallies will be taken out in Hyderabad, Sialkot, Pishin, Sargodha and Khuzdar from February 9 to 27," he announced.

PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz said that the future strategy would be decided after the January 21 deadline.
