PESHAWAR (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that the incompetent government had snatched jobs after promising 10 million jobs.

Addressing the workers' convention on Monday, he said that the long march would start from Karachi on February 27 and reach Islamabad on March 8.

He said that the prime minister had promised to give five million houses, but regularized his house. "The government has snatched the roof from the head of the poor. The people are fed up with the government repeatedly taking U-turns," he maintained.

The PPP chairman said that Imran Khan had promised New Pakistan, but it neither provided opportunities for education nor employment. "All promises made by Imran Khan were false. Corruption is increasing fast in the country. Transparency International has termed the PTI government the most corrupt one," he added.

He said that the PPP had declared the assembly as selected on the very first day. "I convinced all opposition parties to counter the selected jointly," he added.

Bilawal Bhutto said that the PPP decided not to leave the field open for Imran Khan by refusing to tender resignations. "We countered the government with full force and defeated it in the Senate. We will not attack the institution to oust the government," he maintained.

He declared that the PPP is a democratic party and it will adopt a democratic way to remove the government. "We cannot forget the victims of terrorism. We demand that the government should seek permission from the parliament if it wants to engage terrorists," he added.
