March 10, 2020
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has said that he will not deny a meeting of former premier Nawaz Sharif with the UK establishment. Responding to a question by a journalist after appearing in the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday, he said that he was not in a position to comment on it as he is not allowed by the party. He said that Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif wants to return to the country in March. “Nawaz Sharif will return to the country soon after his heart operation,” he said. Rana Sanaullah said that the PML-N has decided not to become a part of any national government. “The PML-N wants the mid-term elections instead of a national government,” he said. He said that the PML-N would select each forum to lodge the protest. “Consultations are underway to seek extension in the bail of Nawaz Sharif,” he added. Earlier, Rana Sanaullah had claimed that they were in contact with the government allies. The PML-N leader said that everyone is facing troubles from the incumbent government. “They will try to remove all the complaints, reservations and misunderstandings of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. All the opposition parties will have to take the decision of ‘march’ against government together,” Rana Sanaullah mentioned. He also said that Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to return in next month. “Supervision of her father is a fundamental right of former premier Nawaz Sharif’s Maryam Nawaz,” he added. On the other hand, Rana Sanaullah appeared before NAB in Lahore in assets beyond income case. He also submitted details of his family members’ properties in the bureau. On December 26, 2019, Rana Sanaullah was released from camp jail after the Lahore High Court (LHC) had granted him bail in the narcotics smuggling case. The PML-N MNA was released after furnishing two surety bonds worth Rs one million each as directed by the LHC bench that approved his bail plea via a short order on December 24.
