Won’t leave easily: Sindh IGP Kaleem rejects news of his transfer

KARACHI (92 News) – Rejecting the speculations or news against his transfer, Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Kaleem Imam said on Tuesday that the conspiracy is being hatched against him but he won’t leave easily. He said while addressing in an inaugural ceremony of martyrs monument at the Capital Police Office (CPO). Speaking to the police officers, the Sindh IGP said that he is not going anywhere and his transfer is not that much easy, adding that that he will leave the province according to his fate. “An impression is being given that I have been transferred even if I am transferred, I am worth my weight in gold,” Dr Kaleem Imam said. He alleged that a conspiracy has been hatched to remove him from the province. “We all [police officer] work under the law of the land. He credited the department’s team work for maintaining peace in the province. Assuring his fellow police officers not to get worry in tough times, IGP Sindh said during his service, he gone through such days, where he thought “This is the last day of my service.” Referring to the ceremony, Dr Kaleem Imam said that an inaugural gathering was named as a farewell ceremony for him. “Seems like Sindh government wants to save money of my farewell party.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGaDMrOXbts
