I won’t resign over opposition's demands, says PM Nawaz Sharif

OKARA/SHER GARH (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he will not resign over the demands of the opposition.

Addressing a public meeting on Saturday, he said: “It is in our destiny to serve the masses, while protest is the fate of our opponents.”

He said that he does not forget his promise. “People’s enthusiasm remembers me the scene of 2013. I love Okara and people also love me,” he said.

The prime minister announced a grant of Rs 470 million for Sui gas supply in the city.

He said that they would make Okara an industrial estate.

Nawaz Sharif advised Imran Khan to go and play cricket.

The prime minister said that loadshedding would end in 2018.

He said that the government constructs roads while opponents measure them.

He announced a grant of Rs 500 million for provision of gas supply to 100 villages.

“We have long-term friends. Once our friend is a friend forever,” he maintained.

Earlier, the prime minister inaugurated the wheat harvesting drive.
