Worker dies after falling from lift in Ramazan Sugar Mills

CHINIOT (92 News) – A worker died after falling from lift due to faulty protective measures in Ramazan Sugar Mills on Saturday. Mudassar, 27, was working at the lift when he fell suddenly, suffered a severe head injury and died on the spot. He was neither wearing a helmet nor protective shoes at that time. The mills administration reached the hospital and pressurized staff to remove the name of the mills from the record. The management also forcibly took away the body without autopsy and sent it to his home in Sheikhupura. Despite getting information, Faisalabad Commissioner Momin Ali Agha, the DCO and Chiniot DPO did not take any action against the mills administration.
