Workers clash at polling stations in Lahore and Faisalabad

LAHORE (92 News) - Workers of political parties clashed at different polling stations during the by-elections in 20 constituencies of Punjab.

As per details, a fight broke out between the workers of two political parties in Constituency PP-158 Dharmapura, Lahore. A fight broke out at polling station 60 to prevent voters from entering, resulting in injuries to a worker. The police brought the situation under control.

On the other hand, in the polling station 59 Awan Market of Constituency PP-168, the workers also clashed. Later, a heavy contingent of police reached there.

Moreover, fight also broke out at polling station No 72 of PP-97 in Faisalabad during which the ballot paper of an elderly voter was torn. The staff issued a new ballot paper to the voter.
