World Bank approves US$70.5 million aid for FATA IDPs

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Washington-based World Bank on Thursday approved US$70.5 million aid for Pakistan. According to a statement issued by the World Bank, the aid money will be spent on the rehabilitation of Internally Displaced People (IDPs) of FATA. The aid will be provided to 120,000 IDPs in two installments. “As many as Rs 35,000 will provided for the rehabilitation of IDPs and Rs 16,000 for food,” the statement said.
