Yasmin Rashid inaugurates anti-measles awareness mobile van

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid has inaugurated a mobile van to create awareness against measles at Primary and Secondary Healthcare on Sunday.

Talking to the media Dr Yasmin Rashid said: “Mobile vans are especially designed for creating awareness all over Lahore city.  In Punjab, from November 15 to November 27 prevention campaigns will be launched.

In the campaign, 50 million children from 9 years to 15 years will be vaccinated for prevention of rubella and measles. In this national campaign, 3.7 million children will be vaccinated daily.”

On this occasion, Special Sectary Saliha Saeed and Health Specialist Unicef Dr Tahir Mansoor and other officials were also present.
