YDA holds protest demonstration against privatization of government hospitals

LAHORE (92 News) – The Young Doctors Association has held a protest demonstration in different cities of Punjab against the privatization of government hospitals on Thursday. The YDA held a protest demonstration and sit-in outside Jinnah Hospital and participants chanted anti-government slogans. Addressing the gathering, YDA leaders said that they won’t let the privatization happen, adding that the salaries have not been increased as per decided formula. On the other hand, the Young Doctors Association Multan chapter held a protest demonstration. The participants criticized government policies and changed ant-government slogans. Meanwhile, the young doctors of Faisalabad have also held a protest demonstration in front of Allied Hospital and chanted slogans against the government. The doctors said that the doctors work for the people but the government’s attitude is intolerable.
