KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair has on Friday said that yesterday’s incident was totally based on misunderstanding. Talking to media after attending a laptop distribution ceremony in Sindh Medical University, he said that yesterday’s incident when the guards stopped him from entering the residence to meet Maryam Nawaz was totally based on misunderstanding. The Sindh governor said that he reached the Margalla Hill residence, home of Maryam Nawaz’s son-in-law without prior invitation, adding that the media made the headlines when he had to stop outside the house. Zubair said that the number of female students are higher than the boys in medical colleges and urged the female students to continue education and practice after wedding. As many as 176 laptops were distributed among the students during the ceremony. On Thursday, Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair’s visit to Margalla Hill residence to meet Maryam Nawaz was cut short when the guards stopped him from entering the house. The Sindh governor left the premises disappointed but State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Minister Marriyam Aurangzeb convinced him to come back.
