Youm-e-Ashur observed with solemnity across country

LAHORE (92 News) – Yaum-e-Ashur, the 10th of Muharram, was observed on Thursday across the country with due solemnity to pay homage to the supreme sacrifice rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his devoted companions in Karbala.

Mourning processions were taken out in all the cities and towns of the country under the standard operating procedures (SOPs) to avoid spread of fourth wave of Covid-19 pandemic.

Ulema and Zakireen highlighted the bright teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and various aspects of the Karbla tragedy. 

Elaborate security arrangements had been made and all security related department are fully alert to avoid any untoward incident during the mourning processions.
