Youm-e-Istehsal: Rallies taken out across country

ISLAMABAD/LAHORE/KARACHI (92 News) - On the eve of Youm-e-Istehsal, the rallies are being taken out across the country to denounce the Indian unilateral illegal actions against Kashmiri people as well as the atrocities being carried out by the Indian forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The main rally in Islamabad was led by President Dr Arif Alvi, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz also led rallies in the Federal capital. The participants of the walk wore black bands around their arms and carried flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. They chanted slogans against the Indian brutalities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, posters and billboards have been displayed at the main roads of Islamabad and other provincial capitals to highlight the plight of Kashmiri people and expose the atrocities being committed by the occupation forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Rally in Lahore
A rally was also held in Lahore on the day of Youm-e-Istehsal led by the Punjab governor and the chief minister. The participants wore black ribbons on their arms to mark the protest. Chamber of Commerce and Industry, traders, civil society, other segments of society including singers and artists participated in the rally. On the occasion, Chaudhry Sarwar said that the people of Pakistan stand by the side of Kashmiris, while CM Buzdar reiterated to continue moral, political and diplomatically support of Kashmiri people.
Rally in Karachi
A rally was also taken out in Karachi on the day of Youm-e-Istehsal led by the Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. Addressing the solidarity Kashmir rally in Karachi, the Sindh governor said that Kashmir has been made the largest jail in the world, while Murad Ali Shah said that every child of Pakistan is stand with Kashmiris. However, the PTI held train march from Karachi to Sukkur.
