Youth severely tortured for constructing house before landlord’s residence

SIALKOT (92 News) – A youth was severely tortured for constructing a house before the house of a landlord in Bina area, Daska. Muhammad Tahir, in an application to the DPO, stated that he was in his house when about 10 accused, including Imtiaz Pappi and Mushtaq, and forcibly took to their dera. “The accused subjected me to severe torture. Later, my cousin Usman Ghani came, beseeched the accused and took me with him,” he said. He said that he approached the Daska police for a case against the accused, but ASI Shehbaz held him hostage and forced him to reach a compromise with the accused. The victim said that in the meantime, SHO Mian Qadir reached there and threatened to register the case against him if he did not reach the compromise. He requested the DPO to take action against the accused and the policemen for torturing and harassing him in the police station.
