Youth shoots sister for honor in Sukkur

SUKKUR (92 News) – A youth shot his sister dead for honor on the orders of local ‘waderas’ – feudal lords – in Baiji Village. Zaheeran, 19, was accused of ‘karokari’ and local feudal lords ordered to kill her. Her father, 72, tried to kill her, but could not succeed. Later, her brother shot her dead and tried to show the incident as suicide. The police have registered a case and arrested her father, brother and ‘waderas’ Rahim Bakhsh and Munir Ahmed.
