ZAB's 39th death anniversary being observed today

KARACHI (92 News) – The 39th death anniversary of Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) founder chairman and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is being observed today. All arrangements have been completed in this regard. Quran Khawani will be held at various places for the departed soul of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Central ceremony will be held at Garhi Khuda Bux. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders and workers from across the country will participate in the death anniversary functions, while the main ceremony will be held at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto in Larkana where central leadership will address the participants. A public meeting on the occasion will be held in front of the Mausoleum of Bhutto Family this afternoon and will be addressed by Chairman of PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Co-Chairman of PPP and former President Asif Ali Zardari and central leaders of PPP. All the provincial presidents of the party and central leaders will also address the public meeting. PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s execution was called ‘judicial killing’ when military dictator General Ziaul Haq hanged him over ‘murder conspiracy’ on April 4, 1979.
