Zafar Iqbal Malik appointed as ECP secretary

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – After approval from Acting Chief Election Commissioner Altaf Ibrahim, the government has appointed Zafar Iqbal Malik as the secretary of the Election Commission of Pakistan. A notification in this regard has been issued. Zafar Iqbal Malik will replace ECP Secretary Babar Yaqoob who will retire on Tuesday. On the other hand, a parliamentary committee meeting for appointment of the chief election commissioner and the ECP members was again postponed.
