Zainab murder case: Accused Imran Ali sent to jail on 14-day remand

LAHORE (92 News) – The anti-terrorism case sent the main accused of the Zainab murder case to jail on a 14-day remand on Friday.
The court has decided to try Imran, the killer of nine girls, in jail. The Punjab Home Department has ordered in this regard. A special cell has been made for Imran Ali in Kot Lakhpat Jail. He will be supervised through CCTV cameras.
Meanwhile, the investigation team has submitted the complete challan in the ATC.
During the proceedings, the police presented the prime accused in the court amid tight security.
The prosecutor general also submitted report in the court during the proceedings.
The prosecutor general told the court that the trial of the Imran Ali will be held inside the jail, adding that the Home Department has issued orders in this regard.
The court remarked as it is the high-profile case, the case is to be decided in seven days.
The court further directed the lawyer of Imran Ali that the case will not be delayed.
