Zainab’s killer arrested, he is a serial killer: Shahbaz Sharif

LAHORE (92 News) – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has announced that the killer of seven-year-old Zainab has been arrested and he is a serial killer. Addressing a press conference in Model Town on Tuesday, he said that the first phase of justice has been completed and brining the culprit to justice is the second phase. He said that the culprit has been arrested in 14 days, which was made possible only through the forensic laboratory. “We are ready to extend support in the Asma and Naqeeb murder cases as well,” he said. The chief minister said that the arrest of the killer is an outcome of round-the-clock hard work of the investigating agencies. “I acknowledge the pain of Zainab’s parents. I would have hung him in a crossroads had I power to do so,” he said. He said that they will bring the culprit to justice as per law and will amend the law for stringent punishment. “The case will be tried in an anti-terrorism court,” he said. Shahbaz Sharif also thanked Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa for his support.
