Zardari illegal assets reference: AC adjourns hearing till October 9

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The Accountability Court (AC) has on Tuesday adjourned the hearing regarding illegal assets reference case against former president Asif Zardari till October 9 due to the absence of Asif Zardari’s lawyer Farooq H Naik. Accountability court Judge Khalid Mahmood Rajha was hearing the case against Zardari. The National Accountability Bureau’s Prosecutor Aurangzeb appeared before the court while former president’s lawyer Farooq H Naik could not appear in the court. The court issued summons to the two witnesses Naqi Imam Malik and Ahmad Jawad Mirza to appear before the court in the next hearing. The court adjourned the hearing till October 9.
