Zardari, Imran felicitate COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan have on Wednesday telephoned General Qamar Javed Bajwa and felicitate him on becoming the Chief of Army Staff (COAS). During the telephonic conversation, Asif Zardari said that the PPP and the whole nation is standing alongside the Pakistan Army against Indian aggression. He said that for a peaceful Pakistan, they will continue to support country’s armed forces in war against terror. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah telephoned COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa and congratulated him. Meanwhile, PTI chairman Imran Khan also telephoned COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa and congratulated him on assuming charge of Pakistan Army.
