Zimbabwe cricket team to visit Pakistan as per schedule

LAHORE (92 News) – A day after the Karachi bus attack that left 46 people including women and children dead, rumors were that the Zimbawbe’s tour to Pakistan hung in the balance. However after the PCB’s efforts, the Zimbabwe Cricket team will be visiting Pakistan as per schedule. The PCB sources revealed that final announcement will be made after receiving a written reply from Zimbabwe. The tour would be the first by a Test-playing nation since militants attacked the Sri Lankan team’s bus in Lahore in 2009. Zimbabwe team is due to arrive on May 19 and play two Twenty20 Internationals on May 22 and 24 and three One-Day Internationals on May 26, 29 and 31. All five matches would be played in the eastern city of Lahore after Zimbabwe refused to play in Karachi.
