KARACHI (92 News) – Zul Hijjah moon was sighted on Friday and Eidul Azha will be celebrated across the country on August 12. This was announced by Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneebur Rehman after a meeting. He said that they had received 72 evidences of sighting the moon. However, the meetings of Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees were held in different cities. The Ministry of Science and Technology had already announced that Eidul Azha will be celebrated across the country on August 12. Meanwhile, the federal government has announced Eidul Azha holidays from August 12 to 15. A notification in this regard was issued.
