Zulfiqar Bhutto protests against current PPP’s corruption if he alive: Fawad
April 5, 2019
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for information Fawad Chaudhary has said that Zulfiqar Bhutto protests against the current corruption of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) if he would be alive on Thursday. Responding to the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s address, the minister said that when the corruption-addicted persons are being given treatment, they always will resist. “The people involved in corrupt practices resist when they face strict accountability but their shrieks and threats could not be able to save them,” he said. Fawad Chaudhary termed that this PPP has same relation with Zulfiqar Bhutto as the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) with Quaid-e-Azam’s Muslim League. The minister asked why PPP was protesting if it respects judiciary, adding that ‘Abu bachao’ train march has been failed. He mentioned that the failure of this march is clear from the lack of interest of Public as the true follower of Bhutto would never allow corrupt practices in Pakistan. Fawad maintained that Bhutto never promoted corruption then why they (PPP) were running away from accountability. “How long they would use the name of former leaders for their own benefit,” he added. The information minister said that the nation will itself take revenge from these culprits and it would be better if PPP protest for its own corruption.
Will kick out govt if attempt made to make country One Unit: Bilawal
Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that he would kick out the incumbent government if efforts were made to impose a One Unit system in the country. Addressing the public gathering to pay tribute to late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bux Thursday, the PPP chairman vowed to topple Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in the centre if the 18th Amendment of the constitution was rolled back or efforts were made to impose a One Unit system in Pakistan.
“Zulfiqar Bhutto Shaheed had said that if a One Unit [system] was brought, then he would just kicking it away. Today I say that if 18th Amendment was rolled back or efforts were made to impose One Unit, then I will away the government,” he said. Lashing out Prime Minister and his government, Bilawal slammed the prime minister for having reportedly said that he did not need Sindh. “Khan comes to Ghotki, enjoys Sindh’s hospitality and then says he does not need the province,” he castigated. “Who are you puppet? Sindh does not need you.” Bilawal said, “PTI government has done nothing with sincerity except lying.” He said PTI government launched inquiries through National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to scare PPP leaders, adding that NAB is taking revenge instead of accountability. “The stories of fake accounts are just stories and allegations,” he added. Paying rich tribute to ZAB, Bilawal said today is the 40th martyrdom anniversary of Zulfikar Bhutto. 40 years back today the person who gave Constitution to Pakistan was murdered, he said. “They (PTI and Imran Khan) say Pakistan has become bankrupt due to 18th amendment. The Benami Prime Minister does not know strong provinces are the sign of strong federation,” Bilawal said. The PPP chairman said that they does not want Sindh but want to grab its gas, water and other resources. “The blood of martyred Bhutto is asking for the justice,” he added.
