AC extends Mushtaq Raisani’s remand for 15 days
QUETTA (92 News) – The Accountability Court has on Monday extended remand of former Balochistan Finance Secretary Mushtaq Raisani for 15 days and handed him over to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Mushtaq Raisani was arrested from his office at civil secretariat after NAB officials raided his residence last month and recovered cash amounting to Rs730 million and jewelry worth nearly Rs40 million.
NAB officials confirmed the cash was found from a locker and 14 bags stuffed with local and foreign currencies.
Raisani, an influential bureaucrat in Balochistan, has served as secretary finance for the last few years. He served in same position during the PPP government’s term.
