Afghan terrorists attack martyrs 4 Pakistani soldiers

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – At least four security forces personnel were martyred and four others injured when Afghan terrorists fired rockets into Pakistani territory in Khyber Agency on Sunday.

In a statement issued by the ISPR, terrorists fired rockets from Afghanistan in Akhund Wala Check Post of Khyber Agency located at the height of 8000ft, killing four soldiers and injuring four others.

In retaliation, Pakistan Army killed all the terrorists firing rockets.

This is not the first time that the terrorists used Afghan soil to attack Pakistan, earlier, the terrorists attacked FC checkposts on August 16 and 17.


Pakistan had summoned Afghan ambassador to lodge protests over the shellings. Cross-border shellings have been a source of tensions between the two countries which share nearly 2,600 km border, mostly along rugged mountains.
