Ahsan Iqbal accuses govt of insulting parliament
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has accused the government of insulting the parliament.
Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that the MNAs have been stopped from the assembly proceedings by keeping them in illegal custody. “The PML-N MNAs have been stopped by involving them in fake cases.”
He said that it is right of each imprisoned MNAs to participate in the assembly proceedings. “The MNAs have been stopped despite issuance of their production orders,” he added.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the NA speaker orders have been thrown into a dustbin. “The question is that by whom the decisions are made in the government,” he said.
Earlier, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal had accused the government of insulting the national institutions.
Talking to the media, he had said that the opposition is impatient to send the government home. “The government is also in haste to go home,” he added.
Ahsan Iqbal had said that the experience had failed and now the government should be changed immediately. “The country will be in severe crises if the incompetent rulers remained at the helm,” he said.
He had said that the foreign funding case is the biggest one in Pakistani politics and its verdict should be announced immediately. “Why is the matter being concealed if no theft was committed?”
The PML-N leader had said that the PTI had not shown 23 bank accounts and the State Bank of Pakistan had detected their theft. “Khan Sahib should not flee and present the receipts,” he said.
