Ahsan Iqbal asks Tahirul Qadri to make APC a show of national unity
QUETTA (92 News) – Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has on Thursday said that Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri should makes the All Parties Conference (APC) to be held on December 30 a show of national unity instead of spreading chaos.
Talking to media in Quetta after inaugurating Executive Passport office in the provincial capital, he said that India wanted to fail the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project by using the Afghan soil.
The minister expressed hope that the nation would reject the negative politics to fight against the challenges facing the country and would strengthen the politics of development.
“Instead of pulling each other’s legs, everyone should work together for the country’s betterment,” he added.
Ahsan Iqbal went on to say that the back of terrorists has been broken and their networks have also been dismantled across the country.
While expressing concern over the growing influence of Daesh in Afghanistan despite presence of the US led NATO forces in that country, the minister said that the presence of Daesh is posing a serious threat to security of not only Afghanistan and Pakistan but also to the entire region.
