Ahsan Iqbal says demands of those staging sit-in are unjustified
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that the demands of those staging the Islamabad sit-in are unjustified.
Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that politics is being played over the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat issue. “No one can make the state helpless. Political instability crash landed the country whenever it reached the take off position,” he said.
The minister said that conspirators are disseminating disappointment in the country even today.
He said that the protesters are looking for an incident like Lal Mosque and Model Town, but the government will not let it happen.
“The demand is stubbornness. I request the protesters to make a justified demand. The government will not surrender before the protesters,” he added.
