Al Qaeda terrorists among 10 rounded up in Karachi
KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Rangers have on Tuesday arrested at least 10 accused including terrorists of al Qaeda in the Sub-Continent during raids in different parts of Karachi.
As per details, Rangers carried out a raid in Docks area and detained two terrorists of al Qaeda Subcontinent. The arrested men were identified as Usman Ghani alias Sameer and Noor Tayyab alias Nauman.
The arrested men were involved in facilitating extortion and terrorism related incidents.
In another incident, three accused namely Zainullah, Fahim and Waqar were arrested during operation by the paramilitary force in PIB colony and Shah Latif Baghdadi areas. According to Rangers, the arrested men were involved in firing and robbery cases.
The paramilitary force also apprehended five accused during operations in Zaman Town and Saudabad areas.
The arrested men were identified as Altaf Hussain, Ashiq Ali Chandio, Ghulam Afzal, Shahbab and Aqeel who were involved in robbery and land grabbing cases.
Weapons and narcotics were also recovered from the arrested persons and they were handed over to the police for legal proceedings.
