LAHORE (92 News) – Former opposition Leader and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) senior leader Khursheed Shah on Friday predicted that Punjab senior minister Aleem Khan will be granted bail soon.

Speaking to the journalists in Lahore, the PPP leader mentioned that the reports are being surfaced as Aleem Khan’s arrest is a balancing act. He also claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader’s arrest is just a deception, not reality.

Khursheed Shah does not see justice being served in this case. He also denied the reports for seeking National Reconciliations Ordinance (NRO), adding that if anyone asked about NRO then should reveal the name of person.

Responding to the demand of PTI-led government, the former opposition leader termed that if Shehbaz Sharif should resign due to involvement of National Accountability Bureau’s case then Prime Minister Imran Khan should have to quit his designation.

Khursheed Shah also announced to raise voice against the mini-budget in the National Assembly. To a question about relations with neighbor countries, he said Pakistan wants peace in Afghanistan.

Earlier today, Accountability Court Judge Najamul Hassan remanded PTI leader Aleem Khan in the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for nine days.

On Wednesday, Punjab Senior Minister Aleem Khan resigned after being arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the offshore companies and assets beyond income case.
