All set for second T20 against Zimbabwe today

LAHORE (92 News) – Preparations have been made, security in place as Pakistan meet Zimbabwe in the second T20 of the two-match series at Qadaffi Stadium today (Sunday).

After a successful and smooth first T20 on Friday, officials are hopeful of putting up a similar show today. As per reports, strict security arrangements have been put in place to avoid any untoward incident.

The match will begin at 7 pm PST. However, PCB has announced that the door to the stadium will close once the guest team arrives. To be safe, the PCB advised supporters to reach the stadium by 6pm. Security of the  guest team and the stadium precincts has been beefed up as at least 9,000 personnel have been deployed at the stadium whereas the fans would be allowed to enter in the stadium following a queue.


The revival of international cricket in Pakistan has made the nation happy, with thousands of cricket lovers have geared up to support their national team during the match. Zimbabwe team has also shown enthusiasm in winning today’s match after Mukhtar and Ahmad Shehzad helped Pakistan to a smooth victory of five wickets in the first match.
