All tourists trapped in Nathia Gali rescued: DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has said that the Army and PAF teams are rescuing the tourists trapped at Tauheedabad near Nathia Gali.

In a tweet, the DG ISPR said: On the media reports of stranded tourists at Tauheedabad near Nathia Gali, one rescue team each of Army and PAF have been sent in support of the civil administration.”

He said that the rescue teams are carrying medicines and food items. “Roads blocked due to heavy snowfall and broken down vehicles are being cleared,” he added.

The DG ISPR said that the operation was launched at 3:15am. “All the trapped tourists have been rescued,” he added.
