11 killed, several injured in separate incidents in Khyber Agency

PESHAWAR (92 News) – At least 11 people were killed while several others were injured in separate incidents in Khyber Agency on Wednesday. A pickup carrying women and children fell into a deep ditch in Shalman area of Landi Kotal District of Khyber Agency. At least five women and three children were killed in the accident. The injured and the dead were shifted to Landi Kotal Hospital. According to sources, the dead belonged to the same family who were going to a nearby village for condolences. In another incident, at least three persons were killed while two others were injured as a house demolished due to an explosion in Shah Kas area of Jamrud District. According to initial investigation, the explosion was of a gas cylinder. The political administration is trying to determine the nature of the explosion.
