Abducted minor girl recovered with unconsciousness, injuries in Muridke

MURIDKE, Gujranwala (92 News) - A three-year-old girl, who was abducted by unidentified people outside her Hassan Park residence in Muridke town of Gujranwala, was found in a sack in an unconscious state and a critical condition few hours later. The family told police that Ayesha got disappeared on Thursday afternoon. A search was launched in the entire locality and later the girl was found spotted in a sack lying in an empty plot of Hassan Park. The family found the girl with unconsciousness and with blood on her clothes after eight hours' disappearance. Local police were alerted about the incident. Police sources said the girl was apparently subjected to physical abuse as she carried some scar marks on her head and face. A sharp-edged weapon might have used to injure the girl, police suspected Police further suspected sexual assault on the girl who was referred to Lahore's Mayo Hospital in a critical condition. The family told police that they had no enmity of dispute with anyone. The incident sent a wave of fear and shock among locals who recalled the Kasur's girl episode.
