Army chief condoles death of Naeemul Haq

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa Sunday expressed his grief on the sad demise of Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeemul Haque. According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief prayed for the deceased and his family. “May Allah bless the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family, Aamen,” he said.
PM says Naeem’s passing has left an ‘irreplaceable void’
Condoling the death of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stalwart Naeemul Haque, Prime Minister Imran Khan termed his demise as an “irreplaceable void”. In his tweet, the prime minister admired the PTI stalwart for his courage and optimism and said: “In the last two years I saw him battle cancer with courage and optimism.” He added that till the end Naeemul Haque was involved in party’s affairs and attended cabinet meetings as long as he was able. In another tweet, the premier said, “Am devastated by one of my oldest friend Naeem s passing. He was one of the 10 founding mbrs of PTI & by far the most loyal. In 23 yrs of PTI’s trials and tribulations, he stood by me. He was always there for support whenever we were at our lowest ebb.”
