Ch Pervaiz Elahi's wife Qaisra Elahi moves SC against NA-64 results

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Qaisra Elahi, wife of PTI president Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi, filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the results of NA-64.

In the petition, he appealed to the SC to order the ECP to declare the result according to Form 45. She demanded that the victory notification from NA-64 should be declared null and void.

She contended that hurdles were created in the electoral process. "According to Form 45, I secured 161,976 votes while my rival got only 30,721 votes. I was not allowed to enter the RO office during the preparation of Form 47. On my request, the ECP ordered to prepare the result in my presence. There was a difference between the Form 45 present in office and the forms present with me. Later, the RO rejected my plea to recount the votes," she contended.

She said that later the ECP had also rejected her plea in this regard.
