Cipher case: PTI chairman's judicial remand extended till Sept 13

ATTOCK (92 News) - Official Secret Act Special Court Judge Abu Al-Hasnat extended the judicial remand of the PTI chairman until September 13.

Owing to the security concerns, the Law Ministry had arranged the hearing in the Attock jail.

The counsel for the PTI chairman filed a plea for his post-arrest bail. The court sought the reply from the parties till September 2.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has filed an application in the Islamabad High Court, challenging the notification of shifting the special court to the Attock jail.

The petitioner demanded that the notification should be declared null and void. The Law Secretary, Interior Secretary, Chief Commissioner, IG and FIA DG have been made parties in the petition.
