Citizens, traders protest against blasphemous sketches in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A
large number of people, including traders, staged a protest demonstration
against the publication of blasphemous sketches on Friday.
The police had to
resort to aerial firing when the protesters marched towards the French embassy.
Later, the angry protesters set the nearby jungle ablaze.
The police fired
teargas shells to disperse the protesters. The protesters demanded that they
should be allowed to stage protest outside the French Embassy.
