CJP to head two-member bench to hear Tayyaba torture case

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar will head a two-member bench to hear the Tayyaba torture case. Meanwhile, all the family members showed their negligence when Child Protection Bureau team reached her house in Faisalabad. On the other hand, the Islamabad High Court registrar has submitted his report in the Supreme Court. The report includes the statements of the girl and the additional session judge, an agreement and details of the police investigation. The medical board comprising PIMS doctors constituted for Tayyaba’s examination on the order of Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar will hold a meeting at 11am on Friday. Tayyaba, 10, had stated before a magistrate that the family of Additional Sessions Judge Raja Khurram Ali Khan had tortured her for misplacing a broom.
