Karachi will be changed entirely in three years, COAS Qamar Bajwa tells traders

KARACHI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa held a meeting with traders during his two-day visit to Karachi. During the meeting, traders lodged innumerable complaints with the COAS. They said that heads of all utilities should be bounded for the resolution of the problems of the city. "Karachi annually pays Rs 2,600 billion as tax. Our economic problems should also be resolved," he added. COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa assured them of resolving their all problems within three years. "We will change Karachi city in three years. We will resolve the problems of power, water, gas and roads," he announced. He said that a committee comprising of representatives of the Centre and the provincial government would be formed and the business community would be also given representation.
