COAS Qamar Bajwa, UK NSA Mark Sedwill discuss Afghan peace process

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa held a meeting with National Security Advisor of United Kingdom Sir Mark Sedwill and Permanent Secretary Ministry of Defense Stephen Lovegrove on Tuesday. DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, in a tweet, said that the COAS had also met the UK Cabinet secretary at Cabinet Office. He said that the COAS and UK dignitaries had discussed regional situation, including Afghan peace process. “The UK dignitaries acknowledged Pakistan’s contributions towards regional peace,” he added.
