COVID-19: 12 more deaths, 554 new infections reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 12 more deaths and 554 new cases were reported due to coronavirus across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 42,124 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 1.31 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 28,312. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,266,204.

Till now 12,180 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 9,004 in Punjab, 2,934 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 799 in Islamabad, 92 in Balochistan, 126 in Azad Kashmir and 70 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 466,432 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 438,271 in Punjab, 177,038 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 106,543 in Islamabad, 33,138 in Balochistan, 34,412 in Azad Kashmir and 10,370 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
