Detailed verdict issued in Nawaz Sharif's acquittal in plots allotment case

LAHORE (92 News) - The accountability court issued the detailed verdict in the acquittal of PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif in the plots allotment case on Thursday.

According to the verdict, the proceedings to declare Nawaz Sharif a proclaimed offender were not as per law.

The verdict said that according to the record, it has been known that Nawaz Sharif was subjected to political revenge. "In the light of the Supreme Court verdict, Nawaz Sharif should have been given the same relief that was given to other accused," it added.

The court ruled that three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif is acquitted of the case. 

It also ordered to unfreeze the properties of Nawaz Sharif.
