Dollar further loses Rs2.24 against rupee in interbank trading

LAHORE (92 News) - US dollar further lost Rs2.24 against the local currency in the interbank trading on Friday, reaching at Rs302.70.

In the open market, dollar again lost Rs3 and was sold at Rs304.

On the other hand, the 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) gained 256.25 points, closing at 46,013.49 points against 45,757.24 points the previous trading day.

Meanwhile, the gold rate further witnessed a decrease of Rs4,000 per tola and reached at Rs212,500. The per tola rate of 10-gram gold reached at Rs182184 after witnessing a decrease of Rs3,430 per tola.

In the international market, the gold price witnessed a decrease of US$2 and was sold at US$1,923 per ounce.
