Dollar gains 77 paisa in interbank trading, closes at Rs283.42

KARACHI (92 News) - Dollar gained 77 paisa against the local currency rupee in the interbank trading on Thursday, closing at Rs283.42.

In the open market, dollar gained Rs1 and was traded at Rs284.50.

On the other hand, the 100-index of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed an increase of 314.12 points and was closed at 52,656.76 points.

Meanwhile, the per tola price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,500 to Rs213,300. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs1,286 to Rs182,870. The rate of per tola silver increased by Rs30 to Rs2,580.
