Dollar loses Rs1.02 in interbank trading, closes at Rs276.46

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Following the approval of the IMF programme, the dollar rate was reduced by Rs1.02 in the interbank trading and closed at Rs276.46 on Thursday.

In the open market, the dollar price was reduced by Re1 and was being traded at Rs280 when the market closed.

Meanwhile, 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a decrease of 247 points and was closed at 45,266.

On the other hand, the gold price increased by Rs4,000 per tola, reaching at Rs208,000. In the international market, the gold rate increased by US$13 to US$1,959.
