ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Dozens of illegal immigrants have been arrested in the ongoing operation across the country.

All the arrested people have been shifted to holding centres. A large number of people are present outside the temporary shelter houses.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, over 250 families were registered at holding centres. They will sent to their homeland through the crossing points. From Torkham, over 6, 088 foreigners returned to their homeland.

Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that human rights will be not be violated in the repatriation process. "However, no decision has been made regarding the children of the refugees who were born in Pakistan," he added.

In Balochistan, over 30,000 refugees have voluntarily returned to their homeland. On Wednesday night, 10,000 illegal immigrants were shifted to Chaman border. The arrested people will be provided facilities for three days and later they will repatriated to their native country.

Balochistan Caretaker Chief Minister Jan Achakzai said that the repatriation of the illegal immigrants will take two months. "We are in contact with the Afghan government at the federal and provincial level. We are trying to enhance mutual cooperation," he added.
