ECP turns down plea seeking removal of Fawad Hassan Fawad
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday turned down a plea seeking the removal of Federal Minister for Privatization Fawad Hassan Fawad.
In the detailed judgment, the ECP ruled that Fawad Hassan Fawad could not affect the elections as he was a privatization minister. "In the past, he has been working on a key post. The application seems to be personal vendetta," it ruled.
The ECP ruled that the petitioner could not present a solid proof of Fawad Hassan Fawad's political affiliation. "The petitioner's claim is baseless and unacceptable," he added.
